Welcome to La Honda STEAM Academy!

At La Honda, ALL staff strives to provide the best education for ALL our students each and every day. La Honda prides itself on creating and maintaining meaningful relationships with our students, families, and community members. We value the relationships we build, as we understand that it takes a village to build strong character in our future citizens. 

La Honda STEAM Academy strives to provide a rigorous education where academic content and real-world applications meet. We believe that students learn through authentic experiences that demonstrate relevance to their world. Staff created a scope and sequence of STEAM skills in various content areas to be taught in specific grade levels. This will help to ensure that all students receive comprehensive instruction in multiple STEAM integrated areas. Awards/Recognitions: In 2018, staff received an A2A award in recognition of their efforts to reduce truancy and improve absenteeism rates. Students compete annually in the local STEAM fair and often come away with the top prizes. La Honda STEAM Academy was honored to have had three teams selected to present at the 2019 California STEAM Convention.
